This is just vague, but was spawned by seeing people riding around in the dark with no lights, and wanting to stop them and offer bike lights for safety.
This plan was about when I am finally earning enough money and can just carry them around and give away. With a note about the project, how much they cost, and offering they can donate the cost, or more to help offset the many who do not donate.
The point of this, and maybe a viable product, is something that is immediately attached at any available spot, and can be directed as needed.
My thoughts were on (re-usable) tie-wraps, velcro, wire ties, or something. And then a flexible ball gimbal like mounting system, perhaps that can be locked into place.
I have seen in stores - a product that basically fits the description. But it uses a rubber grab around mount system. So fairly flexible, but not as much "mount anywhere" as I would like.
But mostly it's too expensive to give away. Generally speaking. Maybe have those to sell, and have cheap ones to give away. Or something.
My cheap version is based on some kind of "hang lights" I've seen. Very cheap things, limited life I expect. And not really bright enough.
