At a young age I became very concerned about problems in the world, including the environment. As a teen I was busy with looking for what can be done for all the problems, and learning and informing. I did small things to be more environmentally friendly back then, but at a young age, it's also about fitting in and building up a financially stable life.

I've heard a few things, but mostly people talk about anything but problems in the world, unless it's for chit-chat, profit, or some other ulterior motive.

As far as I can remember, the few things people have said were basically why something is not a problem, or why they are for it (usually the benefits they get from it). Almost always as a response to me mentioning something, although even questions would normally be answered with just something about themselves, somehow loosely related.

Often I would hear something vague about how my concerns are pointless - as though everyone knows the end will come eventually anyway, so not a problem. Or we can't damage the earth enough to be a problem, or especially destroy it. Or whatever, but no upset or concerns.

I've even had responses as though, and one time literally actually, that I need psychiatric help to deal with these things. I guess that's a lot easier than actually joining in and doing something.

I had written up so much on this topic, but not well organized.

At some point I'll write more, and my philosophy about a giant, very intricate, and fragile infrastructure, that is the environment.

Maybe not.

Anyway, see also the topic 2040
