I view Tibet as a sort of concentration camp.
There is an area in Israel that is a concentration camp for people of a particular race, culture, or some other difference.
I have read comments about North Korea that describe concentration camp like conditions for either a region or group of people, or something. Maybe the whole country.
Other concentration camp / camp groups from the past that I know of.
During the occupation of America ("colonization"), Americans were horded into specific areas, and then eventually restricted to specific areas, called "reservations".
During the "Second World War", the United States of America had formed concentration camps for everyone of Japanese decent, or perceived as such. This was due to an attack by Japan on a United States of America military basis located in the Pacific Ocean.
Also during the "Second World War", Germany had established concentration camps and torture institutions, located mostly in Poland, for handicapped, mentally ill, other unwanted people, and people of Jewish decent, or perceived as such. Most or all were killed (a common tactic in war to conserve resources).
